About Happano
Happano (Happa-no-Kofu/leaf miner) is a Japan-based web publisher, started as a non-profit activity in April 2000.
From the start, we have been publishing our works under the domain name happano.org, but on January 20, 2026, the site under that domain name was closed.
*From now on, this will be an archive of old works.
We will continue our activities on this website, "New Happano" (happano.wixsite/nonprofit). Thank you for your continued support.
“New Happano” is the third site we have created since the start of the project. Below are the “About Happano” sections of the two previous sites we created, so please read them if you are interested.

Some works
It is difficult to sum up our activities and publications over the past 25 years in a few words, but we have consistently based our publishing on free access to the web, and have produced and sold paper books and Kindle books. These books are mainly based on the web works created there. We'll introduce you some of our Japanese/English (or Spanish) bilingual works below.
